Sunderbans National Park Weekend Package

Destinations Covered : Kolkata - Sunderbans - Kolkata

Day 1: Arrival at Kolkata
On arrival at the airport you will be transferred to your hotel. In afternoon a half-day tour of Kolkata/Calcutta City follows. The sightseeing of Kolkata covers Fort William, Victoria Memorial, Raj Bhavan, Palladian villas and the Botanical Gardens etc. Overnight will be at hotel.

Day 2: Kolkata - Basanti - Sunderbans
Early morning you will be driven to Basanti. From Basanti you will be transferred by motor fitted country boat to the tourist lodge located in the Sunderbans. Sunderbans is home to Royal Bengal tigers, Ridley Sea Turtles and many other wildlife species. In afternoon you will set out to explore the wildlife from the watchtower near the lodge. Overnight stay will be at the tourist lodge.

Day 3: Sunderbans
In morning you will go for a full day river cruise with packed food and fruits. Later you will have a halt at Sudhanyakhali watchtower (where you may get to spot the Royal Bengal Tiger) and you will also get to view the Mangrove forests from the creeks. Overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Day 4: Sunderbans - Basanti - Kolkata
In morning you will return back to Basanti touring through the river (lunch on the boat). Upon arrival at Basanti you will drive on to Kolkata/Calcutta and check into your hotel. Overnight stay will be at hotel.

Day 5: Kolkata - Departure
Your Sunderbans wildlife tour comes to an end and our tour representative will transfer you to the airport to board the flight for onward journey.
